Keep Track of Your Story DetailsIf you are writing fiction, you have innumerable details to remember. You may want to keep track of the "back story" for your characters, historical details, relationships, plot twists, and even seemingly simple things like the "color of Jane's eyes." Some great fiction writing software programs exist, but for some writers they are overkill. Fretting about too much detail can take you away from the mission at hand, which is to actually get your book done. Hard disks are full of half done book projects. Another way to use IdeaWeaver is to simply take your word processing file, copy all the text into IdeaWeaver and... Rescue Your Book Project from "Forgotten Files Land"If you have a project that has gotten "stuck," IdeaWeaver may be the tool you need to get it back on track. A book is a huge undertaking and many writers get so bogged down that they get to the point they don't even want to think about opening the horrible, almost-forgotten book file. (We know; we've been there!) If you've ever had a big writing project that became hugely depressing, maybe it's because of the tool you were using. Realistically, the outlining features in a standard word processor can leave you confused, disorganized, and disheartened. With IdeaWeaver everything is on one screen so you can understand the "big picture." Seeing your entire book laid out in front of you may not sound like a big deal, but once you experience it, you'll realize it is. Click this link to try out IdeaWeaver FREE now! Here's a screen capture from the Sample Story file to give you an idea of how you might use IdeaWeaver to jump start your next fiction project. It only has one idea in it so far. Imagine what else you could add to flesh it out!
