You get a self-extracting zip file with everything you need to try out IdeaWeaver for free. After you save the file to your hard disk, just double-click it to run the setup program.

If you are unable to download the self-extracting zip (some locations don't allow the download of "exe" files) you can right-click here to download a plain zip file instead. Then just use your favorite zip utility (or the built-in "zipped compressed folder" support in Windows XP and later versions of Windows) to extract the files. After you extract the files, double-click the Setup.exe file to start the install.

System Requirements

IdeaWeaver Runs on Windows Computers

IdeaWeaver uses Micosoft's .NET 2.0 Framework. Most Windows computers running Windows XP or later already have this software loaded. If your computer does not already have the Framework, the setup program will automatically download it from Microsoft's web site and install it on your computer for you.

IdeaWeaver's minimum system requirements

• Pentium class machine
• Windows 98/ME/XP/2000/2003
• 128MB RAM
• 4MB hard disk space (just for the software; you'll need more as you enter data into your database)
• .NET 2.0 Framework

Attention dial-up users

If you have a dial-up connection, it can take quite a while to download the .NET Framework, which is about 23 MB in size. If you prefer, you can click here to purchase the IdeaWeaver trial software on CDROM for a small charge.

Do you already have the framework?

You can tell if you already have the .NET 2.0 Framework by looking in your Windows folder. In the Microsoft .NET folder, you should see a subfolder called Framework with another folder in it that says 2.xxx. For example, the path would be something like:
